DEARBORN, Mich., Jan. 4, 2011 – Ford’s full-year sales totaled 1.935 million, up 19 percent versus a year ago, marking the largest increase of any full-line manufacturer.

Ford’s December retail sales were the highest for any month since August 2009, up 17 percent versus a year ago. Total sales (including fleet deliveries) were 190,976, up 7 percent versus a year ago. The total sales result include a 40 percent reduction in deliveries to daily rental customers.

Ford’s U.S. market share was higher for the second year in a row marking the first back-to-back increase in market share since 1993. Ford’s U.S. market share in 2010 is estimated at 16.4 percent, up 1.1 points from 2009 and 2.2 points from 2008.

DEARBORN,Mich., Nov. 15, 2010 – One of every two heavy-duty pickups sold in the United States in the first nine months of the year is a Ford F-Series Super Duty.

The new Super Duty dominates the heavy-duty pickup segment with 50 percent of total heavy-duty sales, an increase in market share of 5 percentage points over the same period last year – its highest share since 2001. This is according to a Ford analysis of recently released registration data by R.L. Polk.

Furthermore, the heavy-duty pickup segment is growing – up 17 percent over last year – and Super Duty accounts for 80 percent of that heavy-duty segment growth.

The all-new Ford-designed, Ford-engineered and Ford-built 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel engine has helped drive Super Duty’s sales performance in 2010. In September, the engine was recognized by Ward’s Automotive as Best Diesel Truck Engine after rigorous testing against competitive trucks.

Ford announces fourth quarter production plan

DEARBORN, Mich., Sept. 1, 2010 – Consumer demand for Ford’s fresh lineup of high-quality, fuel-efficient vehicles helped the company continue to grow its retail market share in August for the 22nd time in the last 23 months.

Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealers delivered 157,503 new vehicles in August, down 11 percent versus a year ago, when Ford outpaced the industry during the “Cash for Clunkers” sales program.

Year-to-date, Ford sales totaled 1.28 million, up 18 percent – double the growth of the overall industry.

“Ford continues to outperform the overall industry,” said Ken Czubay, Ford vice president, U.S. Marketing, Sales and Service.  “In this market, consumers are looking for vehicles that offer industry-leading quality, fuel economy, safety and technologies, and growing numbers of them are turning to Ford.”

It marks the fifth month in a row Ford sales have increased more than 20 percent. Year-to-date sales totaled 591,592, up 34 percent.

In April, Ford retail sales were up 32 percent versus a year ago, and Ford gained retail market share for the 18th time in the last 19 months. Fleet sales were up 13 percent. Ford is benefiting from a fresh lineup of new, high-quality, fuel-efficient vehicles delivering industry-leading levels of safety and smart design.

DEARBORN, Mich., March 2, 2010 – Higher sales for every brand and in every product category propelled Ford Motor Company to a 43 percent sales increase in February versus a year ago.  Compared with January, Ford’s February sales are up 22 percent.
