In 2009, <a href="http://www.schickerautomotive.com/info/2010/08/25/unique-ford-transit-connect-turns-heads-dream-cruise-helps-local-business-generate-sales-ford-motor-company-newsroom/">Ford</a> saved approximately $4.5 million by using recycled materials, and diverted between 25 and 30 million pounds of plastic from landfills in North America alone.</p>
